September 2010 - Hospitals
idec has recently been engaged by Baulderstone and Bovis Lend Lease to fabricate, supply and install structural steel for the Mackay Base Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospitals respectively.

The Mackay Hospital is an extension to the existing hospital, yet there is still in excess of 100 tonnes of structural steel being produced in idec’s factory for the project. The overall project will be in the order of $1.6 billion.

idec is excited and very pleased to be involved with these two hospitals as well as to be
linked with these two top tier builders. idec’s ethos of quality, service and community purpose will be able to shine in these projects.
