Adelaide South Road Superway

The South Road Superway in Adelaide will be an elevated roadway 2.8km long and 15m above the existing road. A purpose designed precast facility was required . idec was engaged to design and construct the structural steel for the building. Consisting of 600t of structural steel the 10,000m² building is 232m long, 17m high and carries 5 overhead cranes. Doorways of 21m wide were required to move the segments.
